With a shifting climate that predicts increased rainfall, raised sea levels, loss of bio-diversity, increased pollution, and lacking social equality; both studios have explored and synthesized different methods and strategies that can be applied to lessen these negative effects. Through an iterative design process, interventions and explorations have been made to work with theses challenges and to reconnect the green and blue corridors of the three rivers.

By working collaboratively between first and second year students, it has been possible to examine the landscapes on both a large and small scale. This has allowed for a large diversity in approaches and strategies that can be applied on different scales throughout Gothenburg, to create architectural interventions that create a strengthened relationship between nature and urbanization.
